Hi Aussiechick,

Diggle is very popular in Lancashire !!

If you check the 1881 census returns it shows 857 in the Lancashire area. Most of the Diggle's came from Bury (390) then Rochdale 98 and then Bolton 82.

What are you working on at the moment in your Diggle research....Bolton Births ?????
