1841 Staffordshire census lookup

hello i was woundering if you could try and find a william gater born 1824. on the 1881 census it stated from bollary stafford, but can not find this place anywhere on any records. he was married in 1850 wolstantion to a ellen spode and moved to audley stafford. thanks laura

Do you know where William's children were born? May help to identify them on other census, seeing as Bollard doesn't exist.

the only william gator of that age showing in staffs in 1841 is this one-
william gator 15yrs male servant living in trumher,betley staffs

Hi,
I see this is an old post that has been brought to the top of the list, but for what it's worth,Looking at other census entries for I think Williams's birthplace was Balterley which is just west of Audley in north Staffs.
