Lindfield Parish Lookup 1815

I'm looking for a birth record and hopefully the parents of Issac Childs.  I have his as being born around 1815 in Lindfield.

Assuming that his parents stayed in Lindfield there is an older couple there in 1851 called Thomas and Elizabeth who could fit the bill but that is just a guess.   Isaac is with wife Emily and children in West Common Lindfield in 1851.  Do you have that census record?    You really need to check the parish register to see who his parents were on the baptism record.  Lewes Register office will have the film or you can order it from your nearest LDS centre - listed on www.familsearch.org and worldwide.
He may still be with his parents in 1841 so it might be worth asking for a look up on that census.

Hi,
    had a look at the actual page 1851 Isaac is given as 30 which would give him a birth year c 1821.
  Lindfield very feint 1841 but have found the family.

THOMAS CHILDS 50
ELIZABETH 50
JOHN 20
ISAAC? 15
JAMES 12
THOMAS 9

1841, ages over fifteen were quite often rounded down to the nearest five or ten.

www.familysearch.org have christenings for this family Horsted Keynes and there is a marriage West Hoathly 28/11/1810 Thomas Child of Horsted Keynes to Elizabeth Atherall of West Hoathly.

Hi....I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't find Isaac in the IGI on familysearch.org.  I found the wedding you mentioned, but I can't seem to find the birth.
