Hi Christy
I have most of the census for Norfolk,so did look thro the 1841 for Parnell St Martin at Oak.Several of my Cookes came from this area.Did not see a Parnell, but the census is differcult to read in places
Parnell:
Benjarman Parnell married Ann Bear(e) March 17th 1793 at St Saviour Church Norwich
Found so far two children:
Elizabeth Parnell born March 28th 1798 at St James Pockthorpe Norwich
Ann Parnell born born Oct 4th 1793 St Martin at Oak Norwich
Ann Parnell married my Joseph Cooke on the 14th Nov1813 St Martin at Oak,(this was Joseph 1st Marr )
I don;t think Ann parnell was a well woman because the banns were read April 5th,12th ,19th April 1812,but married 1813,this did cause a problem in finding the marr as its expected close to the last bann reading
I have found no children from the marriage of Ann & Joseph,
I live only a few mins from the Norwich RO so checking Parish records is not a problem
Regards Ray
