Can anyone help please.
I have finally found a marriage for Martha A  Davies to William Chaffe registered March quarter 1913, If I get a copy of this certificate will there be other details on it - her fathers name & or mothers maiden name & her birth town ? so that I may be able to get her birth details which I believe was in 1894, and hopefully get her birth certificate. As William Chaffe remarried in 1930 I presume she would have died prior to 1930. Does anyone know how I would find out any details about where she may be buried.

Thank you

Hi Furn

Unfortunately English? Welsh certs are not as helpful as all that!  Here are some links that outline what to expect:

http://home.clara.net/dixons/Certificates/indexbd.htm

http://www.jaydax.co.uk/genlinks/certificates.html

You should get her father's name and her age, which will give you something to work on in censuses.

Good luck!

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)
