search for Matthews Family

hello again.
I am trying to start another link in my family tree, (part of the Overen Family)Harold E Matthews Married Mary F Overen 1919  the  Liverpool Register Office REF. LP/324/ 84. Can anyone help me follow on from here?.  again I dont have an address to work from. (Another needle in a haystack again) it is another member of my overen search, that I need to discover. Again they were around the same area Toxteth or Huyton, thats all I can remember.  any help would be gratefully appreciated.

If you want to find the names of their children, you would have to search the BMD index for Matthews births with the mothers maiden name of Overen.

If you are seeking descendants of Harold & Mary, in view of the years involved, you may have more luck posting a message on the Liverpool Echo "Old Pals" message board at

The board is free and used my many past and present Liverpudlians at home and abroad so you may get lucky and find somebody who remembers them

If you want to go backwards from 1919, you will need to buy a copy of their marriage cert to establish Harold's age in 1919 and the name of his father.  You will then be able to check the 1901 census
