i have a pinter in ymt ree did i already say that
Edwin Charles Pascoe Holman

and also in my partners tree i have a man who was found guilty of arson and insurance fraud however i think he was led astray by his wife as his wifes family (mother brother etc) were found guilty of more than 30 arsons and insurance fraud i think the only thing my man was guilty of was marrying the wrong woman he can only be implicated as he was actually at work at the time of the arson.

Also in my partners tree and in mine via a further back connection i have a man who was implicated in murder, although never tried or found guilty, A married lady said to him 'if i were not marrid would you take up with me'; he said 'yes' and then she murdered her husband (was found guilty and hanged) :o

so infamous rather than famous
Holman & Vinton- Cornwall, Wojciechowskyj & Hussak- Bukowiec & Zahutyn, Bentley & Richards- Leicester, Taylor-Kent/Sussex  Punnett-Sussex,  Bear/e- Monkleigh Gazey-Warwicks

Hi,
My great x3 Grandfather married a lady called Elizabeth Hucker and going back in her tree, we have Sir Thomas Leigh Knight and Sir Richard Berkeley Knight of Stoke Giffard.
Really should find out why they were Sir's!!

My Gt Gt Uncle was a hangman from 1901 - 1924. Quite a famous one, Crippen was one of those he hung.

Good grief. So was Edith Thompson. And they reckon that's why he eventually slit his own throat.

Miserable and messy endings all round then  :(
