I had a look for your burials in Rake lane But the one for John Garrett is to early for that cemetery,it wasn't open then.I looked for David in C.O.E but he isn't there. If he died in Birkenhead it is more than likely that he will be in a churchyard there. Or Flaybrick but cant remember off hand if that was open. Landican wasn't, Do you have another John Garrett that lived in Wallasey.I found one in the oldest church but he died in 1887.aged 80 could he be related?

Hello Macara
welcome to RootsChat i see you only joined yesterday, and i have the honour of your first post ;D
Celia's Rake Lane is called a topic = on one particular subject. So you did well to get the right place first time.
When you get a reply to your post, you should automatically get an email in your in box.  Sender RootsChat you have received mail from Celia. Click on it and it will bring you here.

Would i be right in saying you would like me to do a lookup in Rake lane cemetery burial records for James. Do you think he might have been buried in the Wallasey Cemetery.Rather then in Birkenhead.

Celia    P.S. I have just noticed you other posting :) I will be going to the library next week so i will :) do your lookup then.

Hi Macara
Birkenhead like Wallasey is in wirral,so all burial records for council and church yards for Birkenhead,Ellesmere Port, Wallasey, bebington, Bromborough, Heswall, Hoylake,Neston, Tranmere, & West Kirby are all held on film.At the Archives in Birkenhead. Rake Lane or Wallasey Library, is in the grounds of the cemetery. So Naturally they have the burial records  for that cemetery. Plus  the famous St Hilary, and a few M.I for the local cemeteries. So I will check all these for you next week.
