Celia, My Great Grandfather: Robert Davies : circa; 1833 Died on Fifteenth of February 1898 aged 65 years at 53 Vulvan Street, Birkenhead (off Laird Street).  As far as I know he was not Catholic.  I would very much appreciate a look up if you are able to pinpoint the cemetary that he may have been buried in.
Thank you
Kathb

sorry to join in this conversation.

But I have in my records that Robert was buried in the C of E section of Flaybrick Cemetery on 19 Feb 1898 section 11 no: 155, he was a gardener.

I have this info because I am interested in the Davies name for the Wirral/Birkenhead/Liverpool.

Mel :)

buried in the grave, theres a
Fanny Davies buried 19 June 1916 aged 77 lived at 53 Clifton Road
and
Charles Davies aged 39 buried 31 Jan 1917 living 8 Lingdale Road also a gardener

This is just from my own look ups on the Davies name.

I will look at who else maybe in the grave tomorrow.
main family lines at
Wirral -( Davies, Wilson, Price, Redhead, Dawson)
Liverpool - ( Evans, Lowey, Pettigrew),
North Wales (Davies, Roberts, Owens, Gage),
Exeter (Martin, Hall, Davey, Sweetland, Follett),
Sprowston ( Stone, Germany),
Sheffield and Rotherham (Bailey/Beeley, Martin)
