your post came at the right time as i have another rake lane burial to do tomorrow
Do you have a religion please as the the burials on the films go by religion.So it saves time if one is known.

Thanks Celia, I would think she would be C of E. her Huband William Henry Owen(s) and all his family were C of E. but they are all Bistre, Buckley, Filnts where he is buried. It's a long story but I know they are not buried together. I'll PM you if thats Ok.

Thats correct Celia you can disregard Williams burial.
 William and Annie married I think in Pwllheli in 1906 and had 4 or 5 children. I was wondering if baptism records are kept in the same place as Rake Lane burials?

Baptisms can be looked up in various C.O.E. Churches some in books some on film.There were a lots of Church's but some of them don't seem to have any record any where.

there isnt a burial in September C.O.E  for Annie unless she is on the non conformist film.I did look in October as well in case it was a late burial,which does happen in certain circumstances.No luck there though,do you think there might have been an orbit/article put in the paper by family if she was local.They were very informative in those days.

Is it possible  for you to go on ancestry and find the year of death for Joseph & Maggie? The reason i ask is, the 1940's are longer than usual,because there were more burials a day and take longer to look through for each person.Plus in one year someone wrote in teeny weeny writing ,hard to read. I got halfway through 1947 but found nothing so if you can find the year for Joseph i can go straight to it and find him quickly if he is there.If he isn't  i can try Non conformist.

I have been through the Flintshire papers. I have a full report of the incident, the inquest and coroners report from the Flintshire Observer & News and the County Herald. there are no obituary's in either.
If there is an obit for Annie I would have thought it would be in a Cheshire paper. Do you know the local editions for Wallasey and where they are kept? I might have to have a little trip out.
