Just had a look at that address on Warren drive with the intention of taking a photo.  New flats there I am sorry to say.  Must have been a lovely view over the Irish sea when it was a house.  Still is but flats.

I have found the section that Harriet is buried on and the grave number. So will have to find the grave for you over the weekend
The Film reader was in use so couldn't do the burial look up,But I found an M.I
        I.L.M.O
Harriet Beloved Wife Of the Late Walter Keyworth and cousin of Robert Davies. Died 7th November 1916.
I have a bit more to add to that  will P.M you.

Hi Linda
well i had a very fruitfull hour and a half on the burial request to day.I wasn't very convinced that Robert Davies family would take him Miles out of town to be cremated and have to pay cremation fees plus the service and the transportation fees to Liverpool maybe. Then have to go back to collect his remains. I found 2 twists the first surprised me the change of grave number second didn't when i had a look for Robert Davies.

1916
When buried November 11Th Harriet Keyworth age 54 years
Abode 55 Warren Drive
M.O.B. first class same section but Grave 74
I re-checked thee grave number given previously  from thee M.I.and it does say Grave 10

1918
When buried April 30th Robert Davies age 76
Abode HILBRE Warren Drive
Parish New Brighton
M.O.B.sub 1st Class He is in the same grave as Harriet, Grave 74.
Its a good job I did the look-up today or I would have spend
time tomorrow looking for the wrong grave ;D Hope this answears your questions.
P.S. I forgot to look for walter ::)

If you see this I found All three of your burials In St Hilary
They only say what you more or less know. The cemetery map was lost many years ago( read that somewhere)So although they have burial records.Where they are buried is unknown.I will P.M the records for you.

Hello Celia
:)Thank you so much for your time and efforts.

Now I've got burial dates for both of them.

I'm sure Walter must be there to, as you'd think Harriet would be buried with him, still not really concerned with him, mainly Robert.

What does M.O.B. sub 1st class mean?

Did you find out where he was creamated? His Trustees would have paid for all the costs relating to the burial, as on adding up his will, he would have had in excess of fifty thousand pounds in the bank when he died, so a trip to Liverpool and back would have been not a problem for them.

It's interesting that he never ended up being buried with his family in Mostyn, but from the will, his links with Wallasey and Liverpool were very strong.

Thanks for all your help again, much apreciated :)

Linda

Linda
Did you read all the post?
Quote
Did you find out where he was cremated?

Robert wasn't cremated he was buried in the same grave as Harriet. With Rake lane, if a person has been cremated and the remains have been scattered on a family grave. It would say Robert Davies (cremated remains) then give the grave they were scattered on.But only if the registrar was informed  by the family.if he wasn't they wont be on  any burial records. That's one of the reason burials are never found because family don't do it.No one will find my mums burial because no one in my family new at the time you could do that

Hi Celia
Oh, so they buried him instead, maybe they didn't like burying ashes in a grave, which is what he asked for!!! I wonder what else the Trustees didn't do as per the will!!
Thanks

Hello Certacito

That's interesting about the flats, could there be two Warren Drives as my sister took some photo's which I can't find now and she wasn't under the impression they were flats. Do you mean that the house is still there but used by several people not just one family? Or has it been knocked down?
Regards
Linda
