Just to let you know that I found the plot number but unfortunately no headstone so no further on with Leonard Garner but at least I can now stop looking for the plot. Thanks again, Celia you've been a great help

Did you find where the head stone should have been, by following the grave numbers along.Strange its not there as it wasn't old, There are a lot of headstones that fell in the past.Maybe during a winter when the men didn't cut the grass. They then got overgrown with Grass.I know of a plot that is bare apart from a couple of very old headstones. For curiosity one day i prodded the ground with my pen and hit hard surfice.Took some turf up and found a black marble headstone. It looked like the day it was made because it had been protected from the elements (and Vandals),there are hundreds more like that.

yes we followed the numbers. Found 252 but either side were just dips in the ground so said hello (luckily no one answered!) No sign of a headstone but thanks for the tip

Hi Celia hope you are well, have found i think the date of George Windsor
death i think which is April 1984  he is buried in plot 20c, is it possible
now for you actually find the grave no and who else is in there, thank you
sandy

In regard to the to the burial cant understand how you know a burial is in plot 20c for 1984. The burial index only goes to 1961 in some cases (on Film).Even if you have a record of the burial. There is nothing to tell you who else is buried in the same grave. The only way that could happen is if all the deaths were on the same day and were all buried on the same day.

Hi Celia
Ref your reply No. 250.
You asked for the Religion of Margaret McPherson. I do not think the family were R.C. They were Scottish and most of the family were Church of Scotland or Presbyterian.
Thanks for the offer of the look up

Regards

Colinsmac

Thank you Colinsmac
that will be a great help to me,because the films go by religion.C.O.E. R.C. & nonconformist & general. So i have to look at a few films according to the year.If a religion is not known. So if your burial is, in Rake lane it will come under general.

This is an example of what i meant when i said it was not possible to find others in a grave unless they all died on the same day and were buried on the same day.Never actually seen one till i found this today.

1888
Buried Jan 8th Maria Margaret C.Boyd aged 28 days
Jan 9th  Albert Sutton Boyd age 5
Jan 10th Robert Harold Boyd age age 22 months

All of Palatine Road in Seacombe
How did that happen? how sad :(
Since i posted this i have found you can find people in the same grave,I didnt know that then though ;D
