Hello Lorrie
I decided on the spur of the moment,to do a different kind of lookup for burials. That i have not been able to find ( I keep a note)because the burial place is uncertain. Also to save myself some time. Before i do cemetery lookups.I don't want to get your hopes up ;) but i found a An Aldred burial, the only one i have ever come across.Firstly can you tell me who Rose was married to?Secondly did you get the death of Rose from her death certificate?

Hi Celia,
Yes please when you have the time. The name is William Creer, very confusing because I have seen it spelt both Greer and Green :'(.I spent ages looking for Creer in the census records at Earlston  library to eventually find the family had been marked down as Green :-\  It is definatly Creer as I have marriage certs ;D
Many thanks, Pat

Hi Celia,
I live not far from our local choccy factory Cadburys ;D.O.K. on good days when they aren't burning the chocolate :P. I have a feeling William may have been Catholic he was married in a catholic Chapel in Liverpool ???.  A phone call  this evening  is going to have me ploughing back into this side of the family. I left a note on a  grave near to my Nan's, that I thought belonged to my uncle who died in the 1960's asking for any family to get in touch, the call I had was from my cousin! I have not seen her for  over 35 years, she is older than me so she remembers me as a young child :D. We had a long talk and she has loads of old family photo's so we are going to meet next week ;D

Hi Celia,
Rose was married to Thomas Aldred in 1904.
I found her death in the GRO references in March quarter 1960 but I havent got her death certificate.

Lorrie
