Hello Again

 Had to get a check on 1891 for the family (thanks to Tati) we have..

 Ihave found a death recorded for a Joseph Walker in 1844 the age and location seem to fit and in1891 Maria is shown as a widow..

  The family now live at Long Wick.

  Still living at the cottages we find
  William  hd u 27 ag lab
   Owen   br  u 26 ag lab.

   A few changes by 1901 (not many)

        Maria still head
  still living at home are;

                    Owen  b@1871(still confused on that one )
                Jack/John b@1876
                   George b@1878
                     Alice    b@1880
                    James  b@1884

   Selina married a George Mason and I'm still looking for her.

   Joseph jr married Emily and by 1901 are in Bisham Berks.

      Willie L            so b@1897 bWoodstock

  Also living with them is  Thomas his brother .

           Hope this fills in a few more gaps .As I find more I will let you know,

I have been having fun digesting all the information you have provided on the Walkers and trying to follow up a few points.  Thanks for all your work!

Re Owen Walker.  He has turned up in the 1871 census aged 5!  Perhaps he was farmed out to one of the relatives to look after.  (Assuming his 1901 age is wrong.) 

I found my g-g-grandfather, Richard Hanson, living with Maria and Joseph in 1871.

Have you got any further details on Joseph’s death?  Was he buried at Chearsley and if so when?  (The year you gave must be a mistype.)

Rodney,,,,,I must have had a brain storm.

 Here we go Joseph died 1884 (typing too quickley again). Not buried in Chearsley so I will have a look in the records next time I go to the library.
 Owen is confusing me as in 1881 ARON is listed and then disappears as yet cannot find death. Owen age changes so I will look at that further as well.
 Cannot find Richard buried in Chearsley so will check Kimble.

Hi Julie
I see you are related to the White's of Chearsley. My 2x great grandmother Athalia White c1826 - 1902 married John Miles. Athalia's father was Richard White (1841 census) a sister Mary but no mother's name, I have no other info on the White family, would you be able to help with any more info please?

 I have found Athaliah's baptism details
  1832 15 April Athaliah daughter of Richard & Ann White lab of Chearsley
 also 10 May 1837  Ann White age 40 wife of Richard.

Thanks very much for this helpful info. So Athaliah's mother Ann died in 1837,, will keep searching to find out more about her & what her maiden name was, thanks again
