No Thanks Tazzie.  I reckon we've got the same set of PR discs. ;D ;D

Just one question though(I haven't researched the Walkers that thoroughly at all), are the parents of  Joseph Walker 1836/7. Chearsley .....................William Walker c1800 and Ann Walker(nee.Silver) or William & Martha(nee.??) Walker.   I have his Joseph baptism as 15 May 1836. to the latter.

  Hi Steve..

He is listed as son of William & Martha Walker of Chearsley.
William and Ann baptise a son Thomas in September of that year.As yet I do not know Martha maiden name as they do not appear in marriages or banns for the village.
My problem is too many William Walkers.. 5x great grandad Francis had a number with 2 wives..
1782 William aug  died sept 1782
1794 William jan died aug 1795 with brother John (no baptism for John)
1798 William may died  nov 1799
Lots of Walkers in Dinton as well.

OK, thanks very much Tazzie. :)

I'd better give the Walkers more thought and research.    Loads of Walkers in Princes Risborough also. :o ;D

I'm suffering from FH overload, so I'm giving my brain cell a wee rest for a bit, and try and help a few others instead.

I'll have a peak back in the Chearsley PR's tomorrow. ;)

I also noticed you were talking about the various Richard Ewers.

As far as I can tell, my Richard Ewer married Sarah Turner in 1764.Ashendon.  They had a son Thomas 1771. Ashendon.  He married a Sarah Varney @Dorton in 1805, and had a daughter Mariah Ewers in 1816. Ashendon.

Mariah Ewers then married John Bull in 1844. Waddesden.    They then had Alice Ellen Bull in 1860. Waddesden, who went on to marry Mark Lambourne 1861.Aylesbury, and they had a son Alfred Lambourne 1889. Walton, Aylesbury.  Who then married my Aunty Olive Burgess 1898. Hulme, Manchester in 1918 Aylesbury.

And Olive Burgess was my mums sister. ;D

Easy innit. :o ;D

Thanks Tazzie. ;)

My Lambournes, as far as I have found, go back to a marriage of Thomas Lambourne to Elizabeth Baker in 1673. Twyford, Bucks, I think( without looking).  Before turning up in North Marston and then to Robert Lambourne 1825. Cheddington. :o :o

Have we met in a former life. ;D ;D ;)

No doubt we have a few common names between us. :)
