Hi
Does the death cert give an age for William John, this would help with an approximate date of birth, If you can let us have age and date of death we could maybe find him?

Do you know William John's birth year/death year and possible what area he was from?

Some census are mistranscribed or hold a lot of errors.  Children's ages where often rounded up by the enumerator to make things easier.

Hope the above helps

wow, how did you find all that? amazing! and the biggest thanks to you!!
william john jenkins died in1952 approx and he was born 1908 approx, he was welsh born in wales, dont know where, neither does my father know,mm.
well it seems all of his family both floyd his mums side and his dad jenkins side went by strange names like
mam floyd or dada floyd (i think now is short for david?) or like his mother was called "doll" and nothing else, weird really, or was this the norm?
william was also 10 years older than sarah.
they were all at washington terrace and some died there. i think dada floyd did at least and mam floyd too.
deb!
