Census Look up Please

Hi Everyone,

Was wondering if some kind person can help me.

My family are very vague about this side of my family,  I was able to find my grandfathers mother's surname through the GRO index for births (which was something). The only information I have been able to find through LancashireBMD and FREEBMD is this:

My G.Grandparents are: Francis Henry BERRY born June 1878 West Derby                   
                                 Elizabeth Ann SIMS born March 1876 West Derby
                                       
                                They married in June 1898 at St.Ambrose in Everton.

I was told that my Grandfather was named after his father which has led me to all sorts of problems and I came across the above information purely by accident.  I did try to find them on Ancestry 1881 Census but no luck maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Any Info would be greatly appreciated, no matter what it is.  Many thanks

I think I can see your family in the 1901 census - do you have that information yet?

Hi John,

Thanks for the information, will take a look. if and when I can get my stupid computer to work (using friends at the moment).  I do not have access to the 1901 census, if possible could you please get that information for me thank you.

Thank you very much,   do now know my granddad did have an older brother called Francis (Frank), so the above could well be mine
