Many thanks for that - yes, the Anslows had a connection to the Eyton family.  Samuel Anslow owned Donerville House pre 1840 and an Eyton lived there in 1841 or 51 (I forget which without checking).  When Samuel left (sold?) Donerville House he went to live at Eyton Farm, Eyton on the Weald Moors, where the Eyton family also lived.

I have an Elizabeth ONSLOW on one of my shropshire branches. Not yet managed to find out her baptism or parents, so she may have been baptised originally as Anslow.

Edward SANDS married Elizabeth ONSLOW on 13 February 1765 in Cleobury North

To Susan,

I came across another article referring to your William Anslow from Eyton, about  freemasonry in Shropshire.

I wish I could find articles like this for my own Anslows !

Ref: Anslow family in Shropshire.

I have recently written a history of Eyton upon the Weald Moors, "A Family-A Manor-A Church" and this included reference to the Anslow family who lived at Eyton Farm.

There are some inaccuracies in the correspondence - tenants rather than owners - and William Anslow marries Elizabeth Ester Belliss (1852) and there is a history of the two families in the village of Eyton.

There is much more - memorisal in St Catherine's Church Eyton and 2 memorial windows in All Saints Wellington (including reference to 'masons'). I have photographs.
