Hi I see you have got back to 1799 with your paternal tree line on the side of Robert.  I am trying to see if this line is the brother of John Sinclair, my great, great grandfather. Would you be willing to share this information?

I am also interested in information on John Sinclair, tobacco manufacturer in Newcastle upon Tyne in the late 19th century.  It's possible he was also my great great grandfather, through his son James.  I am trying to confirm if my great grandfather is the James Sinclair who was living in New Zealand in the early 20th century.

This James Sinclair was living in the same area in NZ as his brother, Stephen Edward Sinclair (the latter described in an NZ newspaper article  of the time as the youngest son of the late John Sinclair of Newcastle Upon Tyne).
