I am trying to find jane jordan born about 1832 in cheetham hill on the 1851/1841 census
any body who can help i would be grateful.
I am also looking for william johnson born about 1834 from pendleton
again any info would be gratefully received

What other names do you have, siblings/parents etc? makes it easier to search when there are quite a few with the same name/age.....

I don't know too much about these 2 except that they married in 1853 and from there I know an awful lot with regards to children, addresses etc.

I think Pendleton and Cheetham returns (as well as other areas in Manchester) have been water damaged according to ancestry, so you may have difficulty if they're in that area

There are several William JOHNSONs in Pendleton. These are from the water damaged section so some of the entries are incomplete
