Hi Suzilad

More then likely to be Uphall Cemetery. Use the contact details I gave you above. They are very efficient and usually get back to you on the same day.

Incidentally, just to make your records accurate it is Stewartfield not Stewarts field.

Best wishes and good luck on Monday when you contact the Council.

Jean

Thank you very much indeed, Jean. Lilias is new to me, but she is certainly one of mine. I am amazed how few of them had stones, given how many there were. Much appreciated.

Thank you, Cauther Lassie, quite a lot of these are mine.

Do you have a connection to the Stor(r)i/e/y family? I have my line back to Andrew Storry in the early 17th century in Shotts.

Hi Jean,
Do you do West Lothian MI`s look ups? I would be grateful if you would do a look up for my 3Xs gt grandfather James Douglas who I think is buried in St Michaels cemetery in Linlithgow.
I have James on the 1851 Linlithgow Census, when he was 78 years old, but I can`t find him on the official Scottish Death records, which makes me believe that he died between 1851 and 1855.
I received a photograph of his brother George`s Headstone taken by a member of Genes Reunited, George is buried in St Michaels, he died in 1870 aged 92.
Kind regards,

#sholto

Hi Sholto

No sign of James, I'm afraid.
