Hello Jean,the post a few back concerning my GGGG grandparents,I have been told it was in Linlithgow churchyard.Does this mean it is still there.
It is the one concerning John Pate and his wife Isabella.

It was recorded in the listings in Linlithgow, so should still be there, unless something unfortunate has happened since the transcriptions were done.

Jean it's supposed to be number 40 so 6th row from the entrance to St.Michaels Linlithgow.I hope to go and look later this year so I hope it is.

Hi ,
I wonder if you would look up this family in Midcalder Cemetery
Mary Ruxton died 1859,
Isabella Ruxton m.s. Renton 18 Oct. 1876 her husband Mathew Ruxton died 19 Feb. 1881
their daughter Agnes Denholm m.s. Ruxton 1918.

Mid Calder is in MID Lothian. Fortunately I have the MI's for there too and yours is showing.
I will type it as it is shown. Ovbiously there is an error or two in the trancription.
1818 Eected by Matthew BUXTON Mid Calder died 20.2.1883 aged 75. Wife Isabella RENTON died 17.10.1875 AGED 63.Daughter Mary Buxton died 2.7.1845 aged 13 months. Daughter Mary died 13.3.1859 aged 12 years. Daughter Isabella died 12.2.1863 aged 29.

Thank you for this information . My friend in Australia will be delighted with this information . Her other relatives died in Uphall/ Broxburh in West Lothian any idea which cemetery that would be?

There are 3 cemeteries in Uphall/Broxburn. The oldest one is in Strathbrock Churchyard. The next one is Uphall Cemetery. The newest one is Loaninghill Cemetery, which is opposite Uphall Cemetery.
Uphall cemetery "opened" in the 1890's. Loaninghill is a relatively new cemetery. Can't remember the exact date but it was sometime around 1990 or so
