Hi,
I am researching Boyland in Portsmouth. My brother-in-law's mother was a Boyland, and I have so far traced back to probably 1795, all generations in Portsmouth including 3 generations serving in the Royal Navy. My Brother-in-Law also thinks that the Boylands are linked to Lillie Langtry - does your user name have any relevance here?

Would love to hear more about your research into the Boyland's of Portsmouth.Who do you have in 1795?
and who are your Navy connections?
My Boyland tree now has just over eleven hundred names to it,I feel sure we could swap info?
