Help with a marriage after 1858

I am trying to find the marriage of Ellen Last to John Ablett .  They had a child Rosetta in 1864 but don't know is she was there first child. I have found Ellen's death Dec qtr 1866( awaiting certificate).  but i cant find their marriage any where.  Can anyone give me some pointers.

Hi Susan

not found the marriage, but found a lot of census info and it seems that Rosetta was there first child as in 1871 she is with her grandparents in Suffolk and still with them in 1881 in Lancashire.

In 1861 John is still single aged 19 and at home with parents but by 1871 he is re married to a Maria who is 10 years younger than him.

Hi Susan,

As you say Ellen Ablett died in Dec 1866;  aged 23 - so born 1842/43. In 1861 an Ellen Last  born abt 1841 in Occold Suffolk - which is same birthplace as John Ablett b 1842 as found on 1861 census.  So married after March 1861.
