There seems that there were Mahers on the Heath years ago, but I cannot find any records of them
James, born 1908
Patrick, born 1910,
Mamsie, born 1913
Monica, born 1926,
Annie, born 1931

No Maher headstones in the Heath old or new cemetery, but I will check that.
Regards,
Jack.

During 1998-2000, Dr Jane Lyons of Dublin transcribed stones from a large number of Laois graveyards. She  concentrated on stones with pre-1901 dates. Unfortunately, many of those stones are no longer legible and have not been for the last few years and so cannot be absolutely identified in photographs. Have a look at her site to see the graveyards she visited ... www.from-ireland.net/graves/laois/graveindex.htm
