I'm looking for the parents or birthplace of Rebecca Whitby, who married Samuel Hollie (Holly) in Heston, Middlesex, May 1615. She was buried in Isleworth, 8 January 1623/4. They had 3 children, a daughter Rose who died young, a son John who died young, and another son named John, born ca. 1619, baptized 1621, who with his father departed for the American colonies ca. 1635.
There is an intriguing record of the marriage of a John Whitbye and Rose Burridge, 22 Jul 1583, St. Botolph Aldgate, London. The similar names with those of the Holly grandchildren (John and Rose) suggest a possible connection.
