her daughter edna was born in rotherham yorkshire 1911. when she gave birth to ernest guy mellor she would have been eleanor jarvis.i think they probably lied about their relationship. according to 1921 census ernest guy mellor was in full time education. waiting to see his school records if any exist which may name parents. the odd thing is that no information can be found for ernest james mellor after the birth record 1912,and nothing for ernest guy mellor after 1921census. no death records,no census 1939,no emigration either. eleanor married again 1930 to a edwin thompson thanks for all help and interest.stuart.
