Ref my last post,
Follow James and Priscilla Hinsley into 1851 Census,
you will see the District is Pontefract

best wishes IAN

Just realised that I should also suggest that Balne in not Doncaster but is in Pontefract District near Heck and Pollington.
As I am doing a lot on the Hinsley family, I would make this a strong suggestion.

After so many years, I wonder if you have solved your problem -

Can I suggest the following as the possible marriage -

BMD Marriages 1847 Mar Qtr
Mary Ann Hinsley
Goole 23 220
William Hatwick

Have you managed to trace parents - Priscilla etc ?

Hope this is the one for you
best wishes IAN

Joining this thread very late, but newly retired so now can browse a bit -
My researches have shown the following data -

Hannah Balderson Bapt 12 June 1836 at St John the Baptist, Alkborough, Lincolnshire
daughter of Charles Balderson and Frances (Fanny) Storr
Census 1841 aged 5 in Alkborough
Census 1851 aged 14 in Scotter as Female Servant to a Farmer
Marriage 26 Nov 1855 at St John the Baptist, Alkborough, Lincolnshire
to Henry Musgrove
Daughter Fanny Musgrove - looks like 1857 registered Hook, Goole
Baptised 18 Apr 1857 and think married 17 Nov 1875 in Hull Register Office to John Henry Ashbridge

Hannah buried 11 Sep 1859 at St John the Baptist, Alkborough, Lincolnshire

Think that Henry Musgrove was 1 Apr 1832 bapt in Drax, Goole, Yorkshire
and think he died 1868 in Drax, Goole, Yorkshire and was a Drax Power Station Labourer
He being son of George Musgrove and Ann Garner.

I think that Charles Balderson and Fanny Storr had 13 children in all, my link is into number 5, Jane Balderson 1833 to 1924.

Hope this is of use, please say if more would help (on the others of the 13 children)
Baldersons go back from here for a few more generations

regards IAN
