Hello Dawn,

Yes! from what I have gathered the family were a well to do family and I am sure Samuel Woolley would have had a headstone erected. I know it is a long shot that it would still be standing but I thought it was worth asking.

Thanks again
Carole

Hello Harry,

Which retired Dr is that then? We have lived in Tauranga 40 years so I may know of him.

Which line of Familton are you on? There are so many being a large family.

Nice to hear from you.

Carole

Hello again,

I think the Familton's from USA tie in too somewhere don't they, I guess my two brothers are too far removed for testing aren't they?

I didn't know Alex had a computer.............last time I spoke to him he didn't! Moving up in the world at long last.

What programme did you use for your family tree?

Bye
Carole

Hello Lorna,

I see you are in Waikanae, I am in Tauranga. I have had a look at your Familton line and not sure which one you tie into??

My Grandfather was Philip James born 1888 youngest of 10 children of William and Maria Familton, he was born in Hampden where a lot of the Familton family lived when they first came out to New Zealand. Do you have a copy of the book "The Rock from which we Hewn" by John and Alex Familton? Will see if I can find your group in there.

Bye for now
Carole
PS No males on my Grandfather's family, only two daughters.

Thanks Frankie,

The Wright's are a pain interchanging like that, I always new they could wear the McIntyre tarten.
