I have a roundabout interest in your William and Ann Smart nee Grant as one of there daughters Barbara Smart married my 2x greatgrand uncle Joseph Gourdie.

I noticed you are related to the Gourdies,well this is to let you know I am descended from John Kinsmans Gourdies brother Peter Murray Gourdie through his daughter Helen Anderson Gourdie who married Archibald Carmichael Kirk here is a photo of Helen with her Husband Archie
