Thanks Carol:

We're looking at the St. Neots parish church not one within the St. Neots RD.

Yes, that is correct.

What I'm looking for is a copy of the church record which will, hopefully, show his father.

Looking for the marriage of Sarah Day & Wright King.

Believed to have been in St. Neots in December, 1841.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.

It looks like the "wrong" William Radcliff married in 1819 and had some 10 children.   There was a John Radcliff who went off to "America" in the 1840s - which, in this case is the US.   So he's not the right fellow.

Antrim / William Radcliff & Mary Goodwin

Hi:

In his 1848 marriage record in Canada, John Radcliff (a Protestant) identifed his parents as the late William Radcliff and Mary Goodwin of "the parish of Belfast, County Antim".

John would have been born around 1820.

I'm trying to find out anything on his parents.   I know there was a William Radcliff, a miller, flour merchant etc of Beersbridge / Ballymacarrett but this is not the right fellow as his wife's name is not correct.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Family History Beginners Board / Re: William and Johana Murphy

Hi List.   Just noticed this posting -- hope I'm not too late for the dance  :)

I've got a person by the name of Johanna Murphy born 1857-1860 supposedly in Liverpool.

Her marriages in 1877 and 1889 say her father was William Murphy, shoemaker.   She does not appear on the census of the William & Johanna Murphy being discussed but she is living with her aunt, Agnes PARREY, and her children in 1871 Kirkdale.  Agnes indicated she was born in Waterford, Ireland.

Is my Johanna Murphy part of the same William & Johanna Murphy family?

Hi Sodafari:

Thanks for the reply.   Should that be 20.11.1807, not 20.11.1907 ?

Unfortunately, I don't know the church.   His Canadian will of 1867 provided $1 for Ann Watson, spinster, of Killyleagh, Co. Down it but did not clarify who she was.   I know he was born around 1806 "in Ireland" and the ROOTSIRELAND index lists a John McKINNEY b in 1807.

Hi.   Would someone be able to look up the baptism record for John McKinney in Co. Down in 1807.

Thanks.
