Hi everyone,
I have been enjoying reading about your lives at RAF Haydock.
I worked with Lynne and Kathleen in the accounts, and became friendly with Swoman (he is now related) and have received e mails from Geordielad along with some photographs.
The photo you put on Lynne I cannot remember being taken and the people on the others are not recognisable. I put this down to my age or a convenient memory. It was lovely to see Flt Lft Jones and Sgt Sperandeo.
My name was Barbara Best, and I came out of the RAF in January 1964, and got married to Franks brother in law in June 1964, so we have always kept in touch with one another. I was widowed in 1978 and remarried in 1989.
