I have no information on any of his military history . Two of his brothers served in the Somerset Light Infantry and one in The Royal Flying Corps but none after the war stayed  in .

His parents were Charles & Maria Wood living at The  Butts , Frome .  ( Charles had died in 1915 ) He did marry a Rose Pratt in 1922.

Hi all .This is a picture of my grandfather’s brother Joseph Wood b 1891 in Frome Somerset. I cant find any information on his military activities around  ww1 apart from this picture . Can anyone help please .

Hi all , seeking military information on Ernest Wilfred Owen b1892 Trowbridge moved to Trealaw with his family in 1911 census . Enlisted into Royal Field Artillery 14 Dec 1915 aged 23.Many Thanks Scott Wood

Hi all, found a new record in my hunt for war records of my family,Frederick Wood was my gr uncle, he was born in Frome,Somerset in 1887, i was told he was in a army regiment but on looking i have found this , was he transferred to RAF ? What other information can be found from this document.Regards Scott Wood

Reply to requests on information, he survived and lived in Burnham on Sea to his death in 1961.Sadly im not a payed up member on Ancestry, find my past is free to use this week for military records but no luck finding him on there.
