Kent Lookup Requests / Re: Barham baptism 1804 lookup request

I have actually looked at the image you requested from the Barham Registers and it only gives a baptism and that was 2 September 1804. I tried to attach an image but was unable to do so.

Looking at further entries on those registers they place the month baptized on the line above that month when baptisms occurred. Note the last entry in the date of baptism is bpt baptized. I would think that the ult is actually October so it would read born 20th October 1814 baptized 1 November 1814. Just my opinion. but it does pay to look at other entries in trying to decide what is written.

I just had a look at the marriage  record on the Barham Parish Registers - the marriage was by licence on the 13 May 1803. The marriage number was #324.

Yorkshire (North Riding) Lookup Requests / Re: Marriage in South Cowton
« on: Thursday 01 May 14 16:34 BST (UK)  »
The entry does list the names as James Medcalf and Mary Whiliar and it was  by banns. The surname for her could easily be Whitiar as there is a mark above the l which could have been there to signify a t. This is from the Bishops Transcripts FHL Film #207579. A baptism for daughter Elizabeth in 1797 lists the surname as Metcalf. there is also a baptism for Anthony Metcalf son of James and Mary on 1 Nov 1795 and their residence is North Cowton. Hope this helps.

Yorkshire (North Riding) / Re: Isaac Ward of Pickering
« on: Tuesday 20 November 12 17:12 GMT (UK)  »
I have had a look at the Bishop's Transcripts for Pickering. There are a few Ward families having children in the period that I looked from 1813 to 1831 but I did  not find a baptism for Isaac Ward in them. That does not mean its not there. It may have been missed or he could have been baptized in another church in the area. These records are for the Church of England. Sorry I could not help you further but there are about 5 different Ward families having children in that time frame.
Good luck

From the Rillington Parish registers on the LDS Microfilm #1068393. Item 13 Marriages1815-1837 page 7 item 19. Married by banns the 23 May 1818 by Edward Day, Curate in the presence of James Pickering and Charles Oveton. It appears they all signed the register. No other information is given.
Hope this helps
