I have a bunch of Player's dating back to 1747, and from 1816 & John Player they lived in Combe St Nicholas, Somerset for several generations & many children, but the names & dates don't match yours - Chris Player

There are many Player's from Comb St Nicholas in Somerset & we have traced them back to a John Player born in 1747 - have fairly complete lineage since then but no Samuel until one born 1856 - Chris Player
