Hi, in BNA I was searching Alec Alvin King Died 1947 Alton....as you can imagine the search results were extensive...so I tried putting a + between each word..no change.
Oh how sad, so guess that’s what we today would say was carbon monoxide poisoning - many thanks sgf28

Hi, trying to find out how Alec King and his wife Grace died as died on the same day - 1 Feb 1947. Their son Alvin age 8 died within the same Quarter from Jan to Mar...I'm still trying to find out if was same day as his parents. Have tried to find any reports on British Newspaper Archives but no luck so far.

Alec Alvin (also spelt alvan) King b. Oct 1903, d. 1 Feb 1947 Alton, Hampshire. He married Grace Hope Maton b. 20.11.1900 also died 1 Feb 1947 in Alton Hampshire. Alton specified as place of death on both Probates. I haven't ordered up the death certs yet, I've tried to look into archives to see if there was an incident that caused their death - thought there might be as both died same day. They had a son Alvin J King b. 1938 he also died somewhere in the same quarter of Jan 1947....haven't identified if also 1st Feb yet.

Hope everyone is well and ok in these current restrictions.

Hi,
I'm trying to find out the christian names of a family on electrol roll in 1964/65
The family lived at 82 Grierson Road, Honour Oak Park, London, SE4.   :)
The family surname will be Leonard.  :)
There should be Paul, who will be ages approx 17 or 18 at these times - born approx 1947/48.  :)
I do not know if Paul had a middle name.
I am looking for the names of the parents, and if there are any other 'Leonard's' in the household.  :)
Any help would be most gratefully received, as I have reached a bit of a dead end.
Kindest,

Hi Boo,
Yep, that is them on the 1861!!!!  :D
Anne Anderson's early life, her parents...other than what was previously said on this thread of giving the names of William and Margaret are a mystery.
I wonder if the marr cert, FHL Film Number:   1894622 Reference ID:   p86 for 5 jan 1825 at St. Cuthbert'S, Darlington, Durham, will confirm Anne's father as William. The groom (William Chappelow)father was John. I think I need to find this marr cert next to try and confirm the father's  :)

Anne and William are my  3rd grt grandparents on my mothers side, so am so grateful to you for you help  :)
My Mum is the eldest of 7 - the 7th born was adopted at birth (this 7th born knew thought she was an only child, and knew nothing of her birth family)...I've managed to find her. So in the last 3 months, I've managed to get 5 of the 7 siblings together for the first time ever....the ages go from 82 to 70.....amazing....so this line is so important to all those siblings, so Boo, this is a huge thank you!!!!!  :D

Hi Boo,
Many many thanks....yes a good contender!
I see Ann Anderson bap on 20th Sep 1795, parents William and Margaret.
I wonder - can you decipher the name of the village? Borvlas?? Sorry, I have googled...but can't see something similar.
This bap is also close to Aycliff where Ann is in 1841, 1851 in Brafferton and 1871 in Darlington Dist 19, living with dau Mary. I haven't been able to find Ann in 1861.
Ann died 16 Jan 1872 in Darlington, she is buried in St. Andrews, Aycliff
Ann's husband William d 29 Sep 1866, also buried St Andrews, Aycliff.

William Chappelow and Ann Anderson  :) married on 5th Jan 1825 in St. Cuthbert'S, Darlington, Durham, England. FHL Film Number:   1894622 Reference ID:   p86. In the internet transcribing, William Chappelow is transcribed as William Chapplane.
1841 Census Aycliff, says that Ann was born 1801, Durham. I believe she was born 1796 in Wolsingham but this is unconfirmed.
Looking for parents of Ann Anderson and any other info on Ann ie Christening/siblings. :)
Many thanks Roots Chat
