Other Countries / John Cunningham Galloway -death in China 1930
« on: Tuesday 09 September 25 15:59 BST (UK)  »
I have discovered a distant relative of mine died in Chin Wangtoo ,North China, Aug 29 1930, aged 50 .
his name was John Cunningham Galloway and he was born in Liverpool England in 1880 !
I have a copy of his probate from "England & Wales, Index of Wills and Probates, 1853-1943 - John Cunningham Galloway" which states his widow is Mary Jame Galloway !
according to a census from 1901 he was a draughtsman !
I have so far not found if he had any children or not !
I find it strange that he die in China , is there anyway I could find out why he was there and maybe how he died ?
any help would be appreciated !
regards
Elinga
