I know it would make him three years older than states in the newspaper article advising of his death. But quite often ages were wrong.
This record is from the Westminster set.  John married in Westminster.   Sara.

Hi Ken, sorry for delay, couldn't seem to get on-line to Rootschat yesterday? Thanks very much for the information, I will get a marriage certificate, might show the information I need.   Thanks again, Sara.

Hi Ken, thanks for your reply.  I only have a certificate which was taken from the church book by the priest, and gives scant information, only witnesses and couple. Thank you, Sara.

Hi, is it possible to find my grandfathers war records? His name was Thomas Whelan, I think he came from Dublin. He married my grandmother in 1906 in Glanworth, Cork. He was stationed at Fermoy at the time.  I was told he fought in WW1 and he may have been a prisoner of war. Apart from that I know very little. Any help would be much appreciated. Sara.

Thanks Z, will give them a ring and find out if they can help. Best wishes, Sara.

Hi Z, forgot to mention I can't get to the BRO as I live too far away. Best wishes, Sara.

Hello Z, thank you for the information, much appreciated, very handy sites, will be checking on these for all sorts. Found two notices regarding Thomas, but, I can't see anything about the actual court case. Do you know where this info' would be held?
Best wishes, Sara.

Hello everyone. I found a notice stating that my Great grandfather Thomas Henry Cole had to appear before the County Court of Gloucestershire at Bristol on 10 March 1848, as an insolvent debtor.  I would like to know the outcome and wondered if anyone knows how I would go about this?   Thank you, Sara.
