Hello Senan!

I'm sorry, I cannot verify the photo - wish I could.... don't have a single verified photograph of Ryder Percival Nash.

Ryder Percival Nash died 18/12/1957 in Poole Dorset

Have attached two photos:
1. Ryder Percival's aunts - my great grandmother Priscilla Rebecca with her sister Mary Emily; I imagine the unknown male is one of their brothers.
2. Benny Nash - Ryder' Percival's cousin...there could be a family likeness between Benny and the chap in your photograph.

Are you connected to the family?

Hello Donaldm!

If you do manage to link yourself to the Broxley Nash family, then I too am related to you.

The Irish descent is as follows:
Ryder Nash married Rebecca Moxly.
Their son was Joseph Nash who married Elizabeth Williams.

Joseph & Elizabeth had seven children, five sons (one of whom was also named Joseph!) and two daughters.

It's at this level we separate:
The South African Nash family descend from Joseph Nash (jnr).
I descend Priscilla Rebecca Nash who married Charles Henry Bennett; my great X1 grandparents.

My ancestors, the Henry family, lived at Dumlambf House 'till the 1860's.

Could Fairview have been the house's original name – I certainly have family documents which mention both Fairview and Drumlambf?

Rev Robert Henry died 1/11/1802 at Fairview
John Henry, who died in Virginia in 1809, was baptised at Fairview 11/11/1761
My great X3 grandfather, James Henry died at Fairview 24/11/1850
And my great X2 grandfather Capt Robert John Henry certainly owned the house when he died in 1866, the Letters of Administration states: "Robert John Henry late of Drumlambf House in the County of Derry".

Capt R J Henry presented a paper to the Dublin scientific community in which he described his deep concern at the pitiable condition of the workers employed on his farm and his attempts to improve their diet. Ref:  Dublin Quarterly Journal of Science, Vol IV, Pages 83-85, Published 1864
