Your correct I am Joe and Eva's son and I would love to take you up on your offer of more information on the Melford clan.
Today I found a John Melford (farmer) age 72 wife Ellen and daughter Mary on the Irish 1911 census they live at house 13 Ballintleva Clogher Co Mayo could this be Roseannas brother their about the same age and possibly the farm was taken over from their father.

I'm also researching the Melford Clan. My grandfather was James (Jim)Knott
and my grandmother was Ethel Paddison from Hull.
