Thanks all for looking. As you say I guess there is no obituary.
Also thanks for the extra information on William.

Hi
Hope someone may be able to help with my query.
If anyone has access to any local papers that may have a death notice/obituary for William Alexander Ray I would really appreciate a look up if possible.

You can always message me.

Many thanks in advance

Yes, I realise there may not be many names but am hopeful. I have had another death notice for a similar time and it had a lot of details in relation to the men in the family who were serving.

I have his death date but I was hoping a death/obituary notice may include names of the mourners.

Hi, hope someone out there may be able to assist with my enquiry.

Ian Anthony Ray aged 4 years old died 26 January 1944.  He is buried in All Saints Churchyard at Freshwater, Isle of Wight.
I would really appreciate it if someone could check any local papers at that time for a death notice.
Many thanks in advance

If you are interested, the website Deceased Online has records for your William Stanley LLoyd.
https://www.deceasedonline.com/
You do need to register to get an account and then the images do cost. Images available are
Full Register Details £2.20
Cremation Register Scan £2.20.
It is a long time since I have used this service but it is well worth paying for it. Off the top of my head I believe the details are slightly different on each image but I am not 100% sure.
