Emeltom,
That is exactly the information needed!
I had Magdalen's death and have added that to my tree but records i found for Thomas did not include ages.
What was your source,please?

Westmorland / Elleray Family Burials,Windermere ****Completed***

As there is a lack of detail on burial records online i am hoping SKS has access to newspaper reports etc for the period 1760-1841,primarily Thomas Elleray and his wife Magdalen.

Susan,
Thanks for the extra information supplied.
I had previously used Cumbria Family History website (which seems to have disappeared or been changed) for transcriptions of newspaper articles, also for my Sutton line in Carlisle, but the one i missed was the birth of Alice's thirteenth child.
My sister had supplied the list of children when she volunteered at an LDS centre in Maryborough in Queensland but obviously missed a couple.
Your assistance is appreciated.

Susan,
I have a copy of Pauline's book however it is in a storage unit with a lot of my possessions since a i became a couch surfer.Nothing of help therein.
I corresponded with Pauline just after the release of her book, she had come across my GGGrandfather,William Wain Butcher, in her research but could not connect him directly to Windermere
as he was from Walney Island.
William married Alice Barton, daughter of William, rector of St Martins.
Thanks,
Eric

There is a "sticky" on the Devon board which may help with specialised information.
