Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but all of the images are available on findmypast on a larger screen and without the watermark.

In some cases there is better coverage of some of the parishes, they have tried to group the books together, which makes some of the records a bit harder to search through, but I found paying £1 for months trial much easier than navigating the lincstothepast website and I now have the images to put with my records - just my two penneth :-)

Hi,

The information I have is the name (John Sullivan), occupation Sergeant in R.I.C and the exact date of death in Dec 1909 and Limerick as the location.

There are a couple of entries that this could be, so will it cost 6 euros, as oppose to 4 ?

Confusing !

Thanks,

Sam.

Hi Victor,

Charlotte was born around 1786, so that would be too young I'm afraid.

Regards.

Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Lincoln Workhouse

Hi,

I have recently discovered a Charlotte Bingley who died in October 1840 in the Lincoln Workhouse after choking on a piece of food. I'm not certain it is her as I don't know her age from the document I have.

I have found that there are 1839-1843 admissions papers as well as a burial register for the workhouse grounds. I would be grateful if anyone who has access to these records or indexes could provide any more information.

I believe Charlotte be my 5 x Gt Grandmother - her husband died 16 years earlier also in Lincoln whilst driving a Coach Box !

Regards,

FTFHA

Lincolnshire Lookup Requests / Re: Richard Crackle/Eleanor Barnard

Hi Meezer,

I have seen your posts relating to the Crackle Family.

Naomi / Naomy Crackle born in Belton in 1777 was my 4 x Great Grandmother

Her father was Richard Crackle and her Mother Ann Rose

Richards Father was Richard Crackle and his mother Eleanor Barnard.

After this it is a little more uncertain, I noticed there are the Messingham Crackles and also some in Owston Ferry that could be Richards Parents, I wonder if there are any Wills for the family that would help point us in the right direction ?

I haven't looked in detail at this family for a while, but will have another look and see if I can get back on the right line !

My branch of the family haven't moved far in 300 years we are about 15 miles away from Belton !!

I'm sure you know about http://www.freereg.org.uk/search/index.htm and lincstothepast ?

Regards,

Sam.
