Thank you so much for looking that up ... I guess that eliminates Chinnor from my enquiries.

Thanks again - much appreciated.

Oxfordshire Lookup Requests / Burial/death record Chinnor
« on: Thursday 15 January 09 21:14 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to find out when my Great Great Grandmother Sarah Seymour died/was buried.  She was born in 1847 in Chinnor, went to Kensington and then the Isle of Wight.  In the 1911 Census she is back living in Kensington but I have a hunch she may have returned to Chinnor in her old age.

I wonder whether anyone can help me at all with this?  Thank you.

Leicestershire Lookup Requests / Baptism Look Up: Cold Newton
« on: Tuesday 15 January 08 21:28 GMT (UK)  »
Just a long shot.  I am looking for the baptism record giving the parents' names of Evelyn Baines born in 1902 (just missing census!).  Her brother Robert Inchley Baines(assuming it was her brother, at the moment) was mentioned in the 1901 Census as being born in 1899 in Cold Newton.  Ecclesiastical Parish Lowesby.  District Billesdon.  I am hoping she was born there too and IS his sister.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for that.  Unfortunately, it is not the Lilian Hopkins I was looking for, but good to eliminate her from my enquiries!

Thank you.  She returned to England much later in her life - 70s I think.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Is a trip to Kew the only way to access the information?
