Hi, yes there is a 1946 register. It can be found on ancestry but only for the West Yorkshire area.
Other areas will probably be at the National Archives or somewhere like that.

I am trying to find information on a family called Vause. Joseph Vause born burton salmon 1821. He married a Ann from brotherton born abt. 1829. I can find them in Rawcliffe in 1871 onwards but not before although I think someone told me it is n ancestry.

I am trying to find out about a richard ernest hart born about 1894, died 3-5-1917 age 23 in ww1, son of william and annie hart of 3 park row hessle.

I would love to know where he was born and information on his parents, ie. birth, mothers surname etc plus of any brothers and sisters, and if his ww1 service record is still available, his number was 11/704 sgt, east yorks
