In case you're not aware, the two churches stood no more than a couple of yards away from each other.  One had a vicar, the other a rector.  The remnants of the wall of All Saints can still be seen in the churchyard, and St Vigor is now known as St Vigor with All Saints.

I've just found an entry stating 'N K Berkshire'.  Now, not coming from the Berkshire area myself, can someone enlighten me as to what the 'N K' stands for please?

... and assuming that the workhouse we're talking about in the one at 48 Vanbrugh Hill, Greenwich, it was also an infirmary.  My wife's grandfather was born there in 1916 ... his mother apparently using *her* mother's maiden name.
