Hi Gail, Hoou have made some progress since you were last on here,
My Gt Uncle was Albert Evans who married Beatrice Wallbank, and they ran the 'Wagon load of Lime' Beatrice carried on running the pub after Albert died, and I beleive at one point she was the oldest Lady Publican in the country.
I have obviously been looking for the Evans - Albert and my Gt Grandad John were based in Burton on Trent until they moved to Arley as Miners, their Father George was born in B'ham
Have you any other info that would help me
