Please can anyone help me? Forgive me for not posting in a more specific category but I'm lost as to which to use!?!
I am searching for a Charlotte Fahey. I can find virtually no info on her other than she was born in ireland in 1826 and married Oliver Ormerod in Newfoundland, St Johns. I have found info on Oliver Ormerod and managed to get a couple of generations back on him but I am hitting a blank on Charlotte. Family grapevine always spoke about Oliver leaving the UK and going to America/Canada and marrying a native American Indian whom he brought back to the UK. I know he was in the newfoundland regiment and worked his way through the ranks. I have found information on all of Oliver and Charlotte's children but cannot find any information on their marriage or anything that possibly relates to Charlotte to being born anywhere other than a census document which states here country of origin as Ireland.
