Just had a look at my family file, but no SIM's in it unfortunately, having said that I don't have a great deal after 1900.  Do you know which Bosher she married?

Many thanks for your reply.  Don't know if any of them are mine as I need to find out which "William" out of the dozens out there are mine  :-\  Hence my message to see if anyone recognised the names in my message, which I am sure are mine.. Will certainly keep these and see if they fit in somewhere along the line though...

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has this line in their tree either as a direct ancestor/descendent or by marriage.
 
I have a Jane BOSHER (b. 1838) Christened 4 March 1838 at St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey (parents William and Sarah) Her mother, Sarah Bosher died 1856 in Rotherhithe age 59 which would have made her born about 1797, I am therefore assuming that William BOSHER would have been born around this time.
 
Jane BOSHER married John Daniel TANSLEY in 1859 in Mile End.
 
William and Sarah also had a son, Elias BOSHER c. 7 June 1840 St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey .
 
I am desperately trying to find out which line of BOSHER's William came from and am aware that there are branches in Berkshire, London and
Surrey. 
 
Any help would be gratefully accepted and appreciated.

Don;t know if you have this info now as your post was some time ago, but have found a James RELF in Cranbrook on the 1871 census as below:

James Relf aged 54 b. Tenterden, Ag Lab
Martha Relf aged 53 b Hawkhurst, Laundress
Annie aged 9 - Granddaughter, b Cranbrook,  Scholar
Georgianna NIPER - 16, b. Hawkhurst - Servant

All listed as living at "Tanyard, Cranbrook"

Also listed as living at "Tanyard" but under a different schedule number are a family that are probably Georgianna's relatives:
Her father (Thomas) and 6 brothers
all living with her married sister Elizabeth, who is listed as Elizabeth Austen aged 25, married to Charles AUSTEN aged 21.

Checked with the lady who gave me Sarah's details from the parish register and she copied it exactly as it was written - just St Helena Place, no number was given unfortunately.

The 54 was her age not the house number.   All I have is Helena Place.  I will go back to the person who gave me this info and see if she can see a number, though I doubt it as it was from the Parish Register at All Saints Rotherhithe, where Sarah was buried.
