Thank you for that information. You have been most helpful.
I have been conducting this post on behalf of a lady living in Toduff who is a descendent of the McAllister Marriage at Clough and have passed on the informstion to her. it will be up to her to follow it up, I am in Aust, so its a long distance investigation for me.
Many thanks to all that have contributed to this post, we now have new leads to follow up.

You are right about the Warren name being tantalising, it was a fairly common surname in England in the 1800's and no doubt had come to Ireland from there, but its use as a christen name or being added to a name is unusual , Somtimes I think that second names were added and used to avoid confusion in a household. My own Gt Gt Grandmother varied from Mary to Ann in the Baptism of her children . She may have been christened Mary Ann, which was popular in the 1800's  and her mother was Mary. She retained the name Ann for the remainder of her life. One of her sons seems to have added the name Corbett in his 30's and we believe that this was from a neighbour who very likely helped him obtain a Dr's degree at a German University and was added as acknowledgement for the assistance.
But you have pointed to the name Warren being used in diverse places such as Dublin and Finvoy as well as Aird in Antrim

     That is brilliant.
Thank you for that information. It is almost certainly a continuation of the family of the John Taylor in the 1834 Tithe record .  The names John and William are continued in the Children. Whether connected to the William at Ballyhulherland is open to conjecture.
Do you know if there are any local Family History Societies in the immediate area? possibly Clough ?

Elwyn,
Re William Taylor being in the Tithe records at Ballyhulherand, Grange of Dundermot ,
I have found that there is also a John Taylor at Drumaglee , Grange of Dundermot 1834.
This could be a connection of William's, either a son or brother ??.
does anyone know anything about him.?

Has anyone got access to the Clough Presbyterisn Church records for the period from about 1820
I would like to know if there are any more marriages for daughters or sons of William Taylor of Cornack.
The marriage that I have for Sarah was on ist Feb, 1833 and she was the 6th daughter.

Hi does anyone have any information on the Robert Taylor Mary Ramage marriage that LindeL  mentions from the Dobbs report ?
I have a marriage of a John McAllister and Sarah Taylor the 6th daughter of William Taylor at Clough Presbyterian Church. I am wondering if there is a connection between this William Taylor and the Robert Taylor.
Any information on the William Taylor or his other 5 daughters might be helpful.

Thank you for that information, I had thought that Clough was closer to Bushmills.
This changes my thinking that William might be of the Aird Taylors, and I will pass the information on to another Taylor family representee from Finvoy as Clough is much closer to there.

How close to Bushmills is Clough ?
also do you know if the Clough presbyterian records are at PRONI and if so, when do they start
That marriage notice was in the Belfast newspaper 8th Feb 1833.
I have a Thomas Taylor of Aird:
Thomas is named at Ards in 1790 election. In the 1796 Flaxgrowers and the 1803 Agricultural census he is named at Bushmills.
This makes Thomas the first definite known connection between the Aird and Bushmill Taylor families.
It is possible that the William Taylor at Clough might be the son of this Thomas. I have no other details for him and those records only give Bushmills as his place.

Thank you for that information. I don't know if William only had 6 daughters but if there are no Taylors in the Griffiths valuations it is possible that the family ceased with William's death.
I am trying to establish if he had a connection with the Taylors at Aird,
